This almost Biblical photo of avenging angel, John Walsh, pointing accusingly at cringing California Assembly Speaker, John Perez did not win the Pulitzer for ace LA Times photographer Barbara Davidson, but another photo essay by her did. We may be biased but we still think this is a prize photo of the best aspect of our form of government in action - it perfectly captures a reluctant government having to face disapproving citizens.
